Please make sure that the device is securely connected to your smartphone or computer. Please note, that the enclosed cable has to be plugged into the device and not the adapter. If the device is connected to a smartphone, please make sure that your phone is not in sleeping or low-battery mode. The co2go will only be powered if your phone is active. If the device still does not show any lights please contact us under email@example.com
Please first check if your co2go is really securely connected. Sometimes phone cases can prevent this, so please try to take the case off and connect it again. If it still does not light up and your phone is in active mode, your phone manufacturer might prevent the powering of external devices. This is something you can normally change in your system settings (try looking for "OTG" or "USB On-the-Go"). If your co2go still does not turn on, please contact us under firstname.lastname@example.org
Please make sure that you are not blowing/breathing directly on the co2go. If it still shows red, please try the co2go for a while outside in fresh air. If it still does not signal green, please contact us under email@example.com. If it shows green outside but red inside, the CO2 level in your room is too high.
That´s a good sign! If you still want to check, please blow slowly into the openings of the co2go for a few seconds. If it still does not show red after a few tries, please contact us under firstname.lastname@example.org.
Yes, the co2go can be used to check quality of air in rooms with more people (e.g. meeting rooms, offices, classrooms).
No. You only need to power the device by connecting it to a smartphone or computer.
The co2go is the only CO2 measurement device that is this small (only a little bit bigger than a 2€ coin) and that is portable, because it get´s its power from a connection to your smartphone or computer. With that, it enables you to check for CO2 levels wherever you are, without any kind of installation.
On the one hand, the difference lies in the CO2 sensor used. An photoacoustic spectroscopy sensor, as it is built into our co2go, does not require recalibration after a few weeks. A VOC sensor also only measures other gases and then extrapolates the CO2 value.
A high-quality, durable and self-calibrating XENSIVTM PAS CO2 sensor from infineon Technology. Find more information about the sensor here
Yes, you can download our desktop app here. A smartphone app is not yet available.
Sometime the lights may take a while to change when CO2 levels are within (or near) the established/recommended limits (find more information about the CO2 limits)
